Anti-Doping education: A key element for the ISMF
As part of new agreement with the International Testing Agency (ITA), the ISMF is glad to invite all its member National Federations, stakeholders, athletes, coaches and supporting personnel to attend the IF Webinar Series 2023 for the education to Anti-Doping.
The Anti-Doping education is always crucial in all sports and even more now that ski mountaineering has joined the Olympic programme. Therefore, attending the abovementioned online sessions is a great opportunity to be proactive in fulfilling this requirement for all athletes, coaches and NF staff members.
Please find below the schedule and contents for all scheduled sessions, as well as an invitation link for each of them. It is necessary to sign up for every webinar using the related link as they are stand-alone sessions.
The webinars will take place in English, with the possibility to have a simultaneous translation in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish. Furthermore, the people who attend all five sessions will be provided with a final certificate of participation.
The ISMF kindly recommends a large presence of delegates from the ISMF community and a widespread dissemination of this communication. To help you promote the webinars, download the banner below and use it on your social media channels.

In addition, the ISMF is glad to inform you that researchers from the University of Birmingham (UK), funded by WADA and in collaboration with the ITA, are conducting a study to better understand athletes’ experiences of anti-doping education. This involves a 10-minute online survey an athlete completes prior to their participation in the IF series. This is completely optional and requires the athlete to opt in during the registration process. Athletes who participate in the study will receive a $5 voucher. If consent is given by the athlete, the research team will follow up with athlete in 12 months’ time to conduct a follow up survey. If you would like any further information on the study, please contact Dr Andrew Heyes (a.heyes@bham.ac.uk).
