September extraordinary meeting of the ISMF Council
Lausanne, 10 October 2023 –The International Ski Mountaineering Federation Council met virtually at an extraordinary meeting of the council on September 25, 2023, to make the final preparations for the Plenary Assembly 2023 in Paris.
The meeting, in addition to the regular meeting of Sept. 6, was preceded by another extraordinary meeting of the Council on Sept. 4, dedicated exclusively to the approval and review of the new rules for the upcoming season.
With twelve Council members present, and no conflict of interests from any of them, the first point in the agenda was to review and approve the minutes of the previous sessions of the Council.
The Council reviewed the results of the business year 2022/23 and the balance sheet as of June 23. As a result of the various discussions with the Auditor Milleis at the occasion of the Limited Statutory Audit, the final loss of the audited Financial Statements 2022/23 amounts to €37.274. Both the Results and the balance sheet were approved for the attention of the Plenary Assembly. The ISMF Council also approved the budget for the 2023/24 season.
The Council was presented for approval a number of Statutes amendments, including some changes in terminology. The majority of the proposals were adopted for the attention of the Plenary Assembly. The Council also approved the text of the 2022/23 Annual Report to be submitted to the 2023 Assembly for approval.
Finally, the organizational points of each event were reviewed on the occasion of the Plenary Assembly: Workshop for the Nations on Friday and Plenary Assembly on Saturday.
