The first ISMF Youth World Cup of the season 2023/24 is confirmed in Méribel, France

 

Lausanne, 29 November 2023 – Jointly with the Local Organising Committee, the ISMF is pleased to confirm the race event to be held in Méribel, France, from 8 to 10 December 2023.

 

Programme of the event:

Note: Depending on weather conditions, the races may be reversed.

 

Friday 8 December:

Saturday 9 December:

  • 8:00 to 9:00 – Last minute bib distribution at the race venue
  • 9:00 to 12:00 – Sprint race
    The exact venue will depend on the snow conditions. At present it should be at Méribel Mottaret – https://maps.app.goo.gl/hrpNVxfkqPC2SDoV8
  • 13:00 to 14:00 – Lunch offered by the LOC and Award Ceremony
    at Les Pleiades Parc Olympique de Méribel – https://maps.app.goo.gl/FET4QAFLFRwyMZcu8
  • 17:00 to 19:00 – Bib distribution for Individual race
  • 18:00 – optional Team Captain Meeting for Individual race (if all details are not defined at the TCM on Friday)

Sunday 10 December:

  • 8:00 to 9:00 – Last minute bib distribution at the race venue
  • 9:00 to 11:30 – Individual race
    The exact venue will depend on the snow conditions. At present it should be at Méribel Mottaret (Sector Arpasson)
  • 12:00 to 14:00 – Lunch together and Award Ceremony at 14:00

Registration:

The registration process for the Méribel Youth World Cup races will be opened from now until Monday 4 December 2023 at h. 23:59 CET. After that date, registrations will be no longer possible.

The ISMF kindly reminds that, as per ISMF rules and guidelines 2023/24, late registration will not be possible this season.

You can register your athletes at the following link: www.dataskimo.org by clicking on the “Registration” button in the top menu bar.

Before registering in any ISMF World Cup or Championships, athletes must have their own valid ISMF licence. You can check the current valid licences here.

Founded in 2007, the International Ski Mountaineering Federation ISMF is the global governing body for ski mountaineering competitions.
