ITA monthly webinar of February will be dedicated to “A coach’s role in clean sport”.

Coaches, and other Athlete Support Personnel, who have a close and trusted relationship with an athlete have a significant and influential role in clean sport. Athletes rely on their entourage as a vital source of information and as a mentor. This requires an understanding of anti-doping rules and how they can positively influence an athlete’s values and behaviours to keep sport real. Claire Lane (UKAD Clean Sport Education Officer) and Benjamin Maier (Olympian in bobsleigh and coach for the Austrian team at Gangwon 2024) will join this session to provide practical tips and share their experiences on how coaches can take an active role in clean sport.
