Join ITA Monthly Webinar on 25/07 – A parent’s role in clean sport

ITA July monthly webinar will be dedicated to “A parent’s role in clean sport”.

With the Paris 2024 Olympic Games just days away, many parents will be proud to see and support their children compete at this pinnacle sports event. Parents of athletes have multiple and often unseen roles, including being their child’s number one fan, taxi driver, nutritionist, and psychologist. They also have a key role in supporting their child to develop as a clean athlete and can positively influence their child’s values and behaviours, which in turn can help to prevent doping.

We invite all parents, athletes, and others who work with athletes to tune in to discuss this topic with Benjamin Maier, an Olympian in bobsleigh, and his father, Manfred Maier, a bobsleigh and skeleton coach. They will share their experiences and provide practical tips for parents to be an active part of clean sport. At the end of the session, there will be time to answer your questions live.
