Sprint and Mixed Relay on the program at the Boí Taüll ISMF World Cup, 2 Olympic qualifying races

Friday, January 31, 2025 – Boí Taüll (Spain) – The fourth World Cup of the season kicks off this weekend in Boí Taüll, featuring a Sprint on Saturday and a Mixed Relay on Sunday.
The two new Olympic Ski Mountaineering disciplines will take center stage in the Pyrenean, a regular host of this major annual competition.

Boí Taüll: A premier stage for the ISMF World Cup 2025

Nestled in the heart of Alta Ribagorça, Boí Taüll has become a premier destination for Ski Mountaineering, blending world-class sports with stunning natural landscapes. After hosting the 2022 ISMF European Championship, the 2023 ISMF World Championships and last year’s World Cup, the resort has cemented its place on the ISMF calendar.

With its high altitude, reliable snow conditions, and top-tier infrastructure, Boí Taüll is once again set to provide the perfect stage for this ISMF World Cup.

A key Olympic qualification event with high expectations for spanish athletes

With strong performances in the previous World Cups of the season, Spanish athletes are highly anticipated this weekend.

Fresh off their recent victory in Comapedrosa (Andorra), Oriol Cardona Col and Ana Alonso Rodriguez are the top contenders for the Mixed Relay.

Last year, it was the Italian duo Alba De Silvestro and Michele Boscacci who claimed victory ahead of Spain with Oriol Cardonna Col and Ana Alonso Rodriguez and then France with Emily Harrop and Baptiste Ellmenreich.

A local athlete to watch, Laia Sellés, will make her debut in the World Cup circuit, at only 18 years old.
